Türkiye lifted additional US tariffs

Türkiye has lifted additional US tariffs imposed on U.S. imports of certain products through a presidential degree published in the Official Gazette dated 22 September. The additional tariffs effecting goods including passenger cars, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, cosmetics, certain agricultural produce, solid fuels, was first enforced in 2018 based on the cabinet decree numbered 2018/11973, in response to U.S. imposing additional tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.
